"I recall it just as if it was yesterday, september 1989 : I graduated from university and started in my private clinic. We all know this feeling, don't we ? How do I examine my first shoulder patient, what treatment strategy am I going to apply ? It was a rather amateuristic event, I must say, but fortunately my patient appreciated the effort.
Since my father was already since many years the leader of Dr. Cyriax's International Teaching Team, I grew up in a rather special atmosphere which allowed me to discover quite soon some new therapeutic worlds. I inherited the passion for relevant diagnosis and therapy, which also became the basis of the motivation of the ETGOM Teaching Team.
The continuous development of specific tools which enhance your therapeutic creativity is bringing us all over the world. Motivating and inspiring colleagues, always keeping in mind an open vision, is for me and my ETGOM colleagues not only a pleasure but also a passion, a passion we are happy to share with you.
Just "good" is simply not good enough for us.
Thanks to your participation we are also able to develop new impulses, away from "dogma-thinking", which already resulted in film productions, books, etc.
Actually, both of our stories are very similar, because as a therapist you and I share the same goals...
and we try to offer the best for our patients, because this is our pride."
