Orthopaedic medicine - manual therapy is constantly on the move ; hypotheses are refuted, new hypotheses are formulated, other hypotheses are being confirmed. One of the more difficult issues is to make a distinction between qualitative and non relevant research. Do publications have an effect om my thinking and acting ; do I incoporate changes into my daily practice ? Those questions are imperative. We teach our colleagues to analyse science in a critical and objective way and to discover and implement the information which really has a value for the clinicians in the field. We follow intensively actual publications, books and journals, on orthopaedic manual therapy and incorporate many relevant statements into our ETGOM course presentations. ETGOM course participants will always receive a copy to this up to date reference materials.
