RSWT in modern orthopaedic medicine ETGOM is proud to announce that, as from january 2010, we will incorporate the use of the most up to date Radial Shock Wave Therapy into the standard training program, presented in the ETGOM training centre in Belgium. |

RSWT - added value in chronic lesions Frequently we are confronted with chronic tendinous and ligamentous lesions, which seem to be quite therapyresistant. A less optimal repair and remodelling phase resulting in adhesive scar formation is partly responsible for the persisting symptoms. An approach with local specific friction massage and exercises is useful, but sometimes not enough. Radial Shock Wave Therapy (RSWT) offers an added value which enables us to influance in a more optimal way this adhesive scar. We can break down more easily those adhesions and thus stimulate the self healing mechanisms. Find out more about this interesting combination in the ETGOM training centre in Belgium.
ETGOM uses the Gymna-Uniphy Shockmaster 500 apparatus.
